Working principle of inductive proximity switch sensor

Working principle of inductive proximity switch sensor

Inductive proximity switch sensor is a low cost method for non-contact detection of metal objects. When metal objects move towards or out of the proximity switch, the signal will automatically change, so as to achieve the purpose of detection. Its composition is mainly composed of three parts: amplifier output circuit, switching circuit, oscillator.
An oscillator, one of the three components of an inductive proximity switch sensor, generates an alternating magnetic field. When the metal object is close to this magnetic field and reaches the induction distance, the eddy current will be generated in the metal target, which will lead to oscillation attenuation and even stop vibration. The oscillating and stopping changes of the oscillator are processed by the rear amplifier circuit and converted into switching signals, which trigger the driving control device, so as to achieve the purpose of non-contact detection.
Inductive proximity switch sensordoes not need mechanical contact with moving parts, and the sensor surface can automatically sense the target action, thus generating drive and directly generating instructions.

Inductive proximity switch sensorcan be well used in general stroke control, its service life, positioning accuracy, operation frequency, easy installation and adjustment, as well as the ability to apply to harsh environment, is not comparable to the general mechanical switch. Therefore, it can be widely used in light textile, machine tool, printing, metallurgy, chemical industry and other industries.

Classification of Button Switches

Classification of button switchesButton switches can be classified according to operation mode and protection mode. Common button categories and characteristics:Open type: suitable for embedded installation and fixed on the panel of the switch board, control cabinet or console.Protective type: With a protective shell, it can prevent the internal button parts from being mechanically damaged or people touching […]

What are the characteristics of sine wave inverters?

Sine wave inverter is a kind of inverter, it is the DC electric energy (power battery, battery) into alternating current (generally 220V, 50Hz sine wave) power electronic device. Inverter and ACDC converter are the opposite process. ACDC converter or power adapter will be 220V AC rectifier into direct current to use, and the inverter has […]

Common Metal Push Button Switch types and application fields (2)

Today we continue to talk about Common Metal Push Button Switch types and application fields. 3. Knob gear switch, which is to control the circuit by rotating the knob, generally has two and three gears; when the knob is in the initial position, the circuit is powered off and the switch indicator light goes out; after the knob […]
